A former Assistant Company Secretary at related subsidiary of one of the largest Malaysian agricultural-based organization, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raja Suzana Raja Kasim had her early exposure in corporate & strategic planning line and company secretarial practice through her professional effort securing Certificate of ICSA in Malaysian Company Administration. She obtained her first degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in the field of business and administration (BBA Hons); MSc in Information Management (Knowledge Management) from Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia and later a Ph.D. in Management from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She had more 18 years of working experience as administrators and had worked in a number of local and multinational firms in Kuala Lumpur. Raja Suzana joined UiTM in 2001 and is currently an associate professor at the Center of Applied Management Studies, (formerly known as the Faculty of Office Management and Technology) UiTM, Malaysia.
She is an active researcher for the Higher Institution of Center of Excellence–the Accounting Research Institute (ARI), UiTM and had experienced as Fellow Researcher for the Research & Publication Division for the Higher Education Leadership Academy, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. She is also actively involved in the publication of research, monographs & chapters in book in relations to leadership issues and entreprenerial development in higher education. She had experience holding various administrative posts such as the deputy dean of the Faculty of Office Management and Technology, Head of Doctor of Philosophy (Office Systems Management); Head of Masters in Office Systems Management and Head of Unit of Research, Development and Commercialization of the Faculty. Currently she serves as the Editor-In-Chief for the International Journal of Innovation, Management and Technology Research and the Conference General Chair for the International Conference on Innovation, Management and Technology Research which is technically co-sponsored with the IEEE Malaysia Section and the IEEE Malaysia Computer Chapter/Society.
She is also an active researcher and had collaborated with the Judge Business School, Cambridge University, Manchester Metropolitan University (Crewe), Salford University, and Nottingham Trent University in the UK. She also had successully completed a research collaboration with team researchers from University Malaya and UPSI on “Mutual Recognition Agreement” together with MQA in Malaysia and in People Republic of China.
